Hiking enthusiasts on Prince Edward Island (PEI) now have a novel way to document their adventures and earn some bragging rights. The Island Trails organization has introduced a passport program, allowing hikers to collect stamps as they complete 12 of the organization's trails across the province. Those who finish all 12 trails earn a 'Red Dirt Seal'.
Personally, I find this initiative particularly fascinating as it combines the joy of hiking with a sense of accomplishment and community. It's a brilliant way to encourage people to explore PEI's natural beauty and improve their mental health.
